A standard ASCII terminal as used on a Unix system can be used as a Leader Board when connected to the PC running the Display Slalom Results program via Modems or via a 'NULL' Modem cable connected between the COM Ports. The settings for the ASCII Terminal should be: Baud=9600 Bits=7 Stop Bit=1 Parity = Even CR=CRLF (on terminal) 2. Slalom
Display Results Program
This program is for use alongside the main program to provide the Remote Leader Board function when entering results. As well as sending the relevant data via the COM ports it can also have the Leader Board Displayed. It could also be used in a network environment to provide a Leader Board function. It also ahs an option to send test data to the Remote leader Board at 5 second Intervals for set up testing and fault diagnosis. 3. Slalom Remote Terminal for Windows

on a Windows system to display
the Remote Leader Board sent from either the Slalom Event organiser for
Windows main program or the Display Program for use alongside the main program
